Create and send videos to your prospects

Worried about getting more leads? Hippo Video's ‘Camera Only’ feature enables you to create prospecting videos. With this feature, you can create a brief, personalized video message and send it via email or another channel to a potential customer. A prospecting video aims to introduce yourself, the product or service you offer, and your business. In this form of outreach, you may be able to break through the noise, get a response, and book the meeting. To grab a prospect's attention, here are some prospecting tips.

  • Find a way to track your video’s performance.

So, what are you holding out for? Go ahead, and now it's time to reach out.

To create and send prospecting videos:

  1. Log in to  Hippo Video with your existing credentials.

  2. Click on the +Create button from the top right > Camera Only.

Optional: If you have lengthy scripts, you can use the built-in teleprompter feature, which prompts the script, allowing the reader to keep eye contact with their audience. If you want to enable the teleprompter, follow the steps from 3, or move on to step 11 to proceed further.
  1. Switch on the Teleprompter toggle. 

  2. You can either choose an existing script or add a new one.

  1. You can use the Search field to pick the appropriate script if needed.

  1. To add a new one, click on Add New ScriptClick here to learn how to add a new script.

  2. In the new tab, fill in the details, and hit Save.

  3. Navigate to your recording tab and click the Refresh  icon near the Add New Script button.

  4. Choose your new script.

  5. Using the seek bars, you can select the scroll speed (Auto Scroll - script scrolls based on the chosen speed, Voice Flow - script follows your voice), the text size, and line spacing of the teleprompter script before the recording begins.

  1. Click on the Lighting icon at the bottom left to check the lighting status of the video.

  1. Select the Mirror Video at the bottom right to flip your angle (optional).

  1. Click on the Settings icon at the bottom to check your Webcam SourceAudio Source, and Aspect Ratio.

  1. Click on the Circle button to start with your recording.

  1. Once the recording is complete, click on the Square button. 

  2. You'll be redirected to the preview page.

  1. Click on Retake Video to re-record your video.

  2. Click on the More icon on the right side of the video preview, to clone, create gif, download, delete, and replace the video.

  3. Click on the Video Thumbnail icon to choose your preferred thumbnail. We always recommend you select a GIF thumbnail.

  1. Click on the Virtual Background icon to select the preferred background for your video and click Apply.

  1. Click the Edit & Personalize button below the video preview to edit or personalize your video.

  1. Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.

  2. Enter the description.

  3. The videos will be saved in the user's default folder, which is the folder with the user's name or email address. Click the Plus icon near the Folders to keep the video in your preferred location.

  4. Click the Plus icon near the Tags to add tags, if any.

  1. On the right side of the video preview, you’ll find an option to add/remove/change the sales page template. Click on the appropriate icons to manage with the sales page template.

  1. You’ll find options to add a link to book a meeting/demo, etc., by clicking on the Interactive Video CTA below the video preview.

  1. On the right side of the video preview, you’ll find an option to share your videos via Copy Link, Send Email, Send for Review, and Share/Embed Code.

Copy Link -

  • Copy Link with Thumbnail: Allows you to copy the link along with the thumbnail and paste the same inside your preferred platform/tool.

  • Copy Link - Allows you to copy the link and paste the same inside your preferred platform/tool.

  • Copy Link for LinkedIn - Allows you to copy the link and paste the same inside LinkedIn.

  • Copy Link for HubSpot - Allows you to copy the link and paste the same inside HubSpot.

     
Note: By entering the email address, you’ll be able to track the action made by your prospect against the video sent via notification inside the Hippo Video.

Send Email - To send the link via email and you will see the recorded video in the email body.


Send For Review Peer review before sharing the video with your prospect.


Share/Embed Code - 

  • Share - Allows you to share the video through various platforms/social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Classroom, Zendesk, and Slack.

  • Export - Allows you yo export the video through various platforms/social channels such as Facebook, YouTube, Google Drive, and Shopify.

  • Embed - Allows you to embed the video through various platforms by copying the code.

  • Send Campaign from Other Marketing Software - Allows you to send campaign through other marketing softwares such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.

 

To track the sent videos

Click on the Hippo Video Chrome Extension icon at the top right on the browser.
