Video scripts can be challenging to memorize at times. Yes, we get that! With Hippo Video’s teleprompter feature, you can directly read the video script from the screen without remembering the lines and record professional videos in no time.
Here’s how you can use the teleprompter feature:
Log in to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
Click on +Create button at the top right > Camera Only.
Below the video preview, click on the Teleprompter toggle button.
You can either choose an existing script or add a new one.
To add a new one, click Add New Script at the top right.
In the new tab, fill in the details, and hit Save.

Navigate back to your recording tab and click Refresh icon near the Add New Script button.
Choose your new script.
Using the seek bars, you can select the scroll speed (Auto Scroll - script scrolls based on the chosen speed, Voice Flow - script follows your voice), the text size, and line spacing of the teleprompter script before the recording begins.
The settings will be retained for all other videos that can be changed at any point in time.
Click on the Record button to start with your recording.
Once the recording is complete, click on the Stop button. By default, your video will be saved in the Library.
Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.
You can also choose to edit the video, if necessary.
Click on the Video Thumbnail icon, to choose your preferred thumbnail. It is always recommended to choose a GIF thumbnail.
Select Virtual Backgroundicon, to select the preferred background for your video and click Apply.
On the right side of the video preview, you’ll find an option to Send Email.
You’ll see the recorded video thumbnail in the email body.
Enter your prospect’s email address, a catchy subject line, the email message, and hit Send.
