Requirements:
Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user.
Lucky Orange Account. Log in if you are a new user.
Pick up the Tracking Code from Luck Orange:
Log-in to Lucky Orange with your existing credentials.
Click on the Settings icon from the tab on the top and then click on Tracking Code from the left-side menu.
Now, copy the Tracking Code (as highlighted) and then click Done.
Paste the Tracking Code inside Hippo Video:
Log-in to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
Click on the Assets icon from the left navigation bar > All Assets.
Now, select the video you wish to track via Lucky Orange.
Below the video preview, click on Track Video > Lucky Orange from the left panel.
Once you do that, click on the Luck Orange from the right side of the panel.
Paste the copied Tracking Code inside the Tracking Id field.
Set the time from where you would prefer to track your video and then click on Save. You will be prompted with the message as ‘Tracker details updated successfully’.
Check how the Luck Orange tracks your Video:
On the right side of the Video Preview, click on the Copy Link or Share/Embed Codes.
Now, paste it into the new tab & play the video.
Then, navigate to the Luck Orange application.
Click on the Recording menu from the top.
You can see the details including Visitor IP, Landing Page URL, Source, Location, Browser, etc.
This data can be of great help to understand your viewer's engagement with your videos.
