With Hippo Video, you’ll be able to configure global settings as an Admin. The Admin can enable /disable the options at any time, and the changes will be reflected accordingly. The global settings are applicable only for the following features:
Content privacy configuration,
Require email to view feature, and
Settings to show video duration on the thumbnail
To enable or disable global settings:
Login to Hippo Video using your existing credentials.
Click on the More icon from the left navigation bar and select User Management or click on the User Management icon from the left navigation bar.
Select Profiles and Permissions. You’ll be able to see default profiles.
The Standard Admin will have the global settings enabled by default and will be non-editable. You need to create a custom profile to modify the settings. Click here to learn more.
Similarly, the Standard User will have the global settings disabled by default and will be non-editable. You need to create a custom profile to modify the settings.
Depending on whether the Global Settings are enabled/disabled, the following features are available/not accessible to that profile:
Content privacy configuration,
Require email to view feature, and
Settings to show video duration on the thumbnail
