Do you need help creating a proposal that will make a lasting impression? Look no further! Our pre-designed proposal flow makes it hassle-free and easy to create an effective proposal. All you need to do is input your documents, explain the content, and click 'submit'. It's as simple as that!
Let’s see how you can do that.
To navigate to the video flows:
Log-in to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
Hover the mouse over the HV Studio icon in the left navbar and click on the Video Flows.
You will be redirected to the Video Flows page where you’ll find the Custom Tags and System Tags.
Custom Tags are tailor-made tags created by admins to manage and retrieve flows. If there are no custom tags available for an account, the custom tag filter will not appear.
Note: The video flows associated with custom tags are automatically moved to the Others category when deleted.
System Tags are pre-made tags available by default for every Hippo Video user to manage and retrieve flows.
Here you’ll find an option to search the video flow templates using various ways:
Sort by - By default, it displays the Recent category. You can also opt for Name.
Search - Enter the name of the video flow and press Enter; Click Clear to clear the content inside the box.
Note: The sort by, and search options work for each tag separately.
Visibility settings for quick create - By default, all the system flows are enabled here. You can always show/remove the newly created flows inside the ‘+Create’ button (available at the top right) by enabling/disabling the toggle button.
Note: This is applicable only for Admin.
To enable/disable the flows, click Visibility settings for quick create link at the top left.
Here, enable the toggle button near the appropriate flow and then click Save.
In the left panel, you’ll find various tabs:
Recently Used - Lists the latest 15 modified flows, either custom tags or system tags (the tag names will not be shown). The default flow will always be the first on top for easy access.
All Flows - Already available and newly created flows will be shown here along with the tag names.
Filter By Tags - This includes the Custom Tags and System Tags.
By clicking the Create New Flow button on the right side of each tag will allow you to create a new video flow.
To create a video using the ‘business proposal’ flow:
Go to the Closure/Account Management tab in the left panel and hover the mouse over the Business Proposal flow.
You can either Preview your flow.
Note: The Preview option will be available only for the System Tags (default flows).
Or click on the Use button.
Card 1: Here, you can record a personalized video to give a brief about the document.
You’ll find an option to record a video. Click on the Record Video tab.
The recording window will appear.
By default, the teleprompter and its options will be enabled. If you want you can turn off the teleprompter by clicking on the toggle button at the bottom of the video preview. To learn more about teleprompter, click here.
Before recording, you can select Webcam Source, Mic Source, Aspect Ratio, and enable/disable Mirror Webcam Video camera, if needed.
Once you’re done, click Close.
Now, you’re all set. Click the Record button to start recording.
Once you’re done, click the Red square button to finish recording.
The recorded video will be imported here.
Note: If you’re unsatisfied with the final video, click the Retake button and delete the video by clicking the Delete button below the thumbnail.
The Quick Edit button allows you to edit the video such as trim, crop, add emojis, add text, etc., and click the Save Edit button to save the changes.
If you want to spruce your video, click on the Add Virtual Background button below the video preview.
The Add Virtual Background slider will appear. All videos are created without a background (Default option).
Hippo Video provides you with three methods to add virtual background.
Click the Add Background tab to select the background from your local drive or G-Drive.
Or click the LinkedIn Background tab to add a LinkedIn screenshot as a virtual background. Check out this article for more detail.
Or click the Website Background (enter web link) tab to add a website screenshot as a virtual background. Enter the valid website URL and click check. Once the validation is complete, click Import.
Select the option accordingly and click Apply.
And just like that, your video gets uploaded right inside the flow.
The green tick mark at the bottom card indicates that the process is completed.
To add your custom background music:
Click on the Music icon at the bottom left and select Set Background Music from the pop-up.
The Import Audio pop will appear.
You can import audio from local, recently used audio libraries or G-Drive and then click Import.
The selected audio is set. You’ll be able to check out the audio preview by clicking on the Play icon above the video thumbnail and adjusting the volume of the background music by clicking on the Speaker icon.
Note: You can change the music at any point in time.
To save and share the video:
Once you’re done, click Merge and Next Step button at the bottom right.
The Enter Video Details slider will appear.
Now, enter the video name (mandatory) & description; select the folder where you want the video to get saved inside the library (the folder is selected by default), and add tags (one tag is mandatory).
Below the ‘Enter Prospects Details’ section, enter the prospect's name and email address to track the prospect's activity made against the video.
Once you’re done, click Save and Next button.
You’ll be redirected to the sales page template. Here, you can add or edit the sales page template, if necessary.
Note: In some cases, you won't be able to edit the sales page template components, click here to learn more about branding. To edit the sales page template, you must contact your admin.
To add a logo:
Tap on the Add Logo.
Select the logo from your local drive, g-drive, or library images and click Import.
To add video title/description:
Once you click on the Text area, you will be prompted to select your text formatting options. By placing the cursor over the text, you can enter the relevant information, such as a heading or description. You can also insert fields such as First Name, Company Name, etc., through the Insert Merge Field drop-down menu.
To add a PDF document:
On the right side of the primary video section, click ‘Add document (PDF) to view here’ to add your contract document.
Select the document either from your library or local drive and click Import.
The document is added. You can edit, delete, zoom in/out(-/+), rotate, download, and print the documents anytime by clicking on the appropriate options.
To add a title inside the carousel:
Hover the mouse over the Text box and enter the title.
Then, click anywhere on the sales page template to save the title. You can also delete the text box if needed.
Note: No character limit for both text boxes.
Click on Add Links, Videos, Images & Documents at the top of the screen or inside the carousel to add links, videos, images, and documents.
You can now Import Videos, Documents, Images, or Links from the library, local drive, or add via link.
Folder: The default folder is displayed; Tags: Allows to search the specific videos, images, or documents with tags; Search: Allows to search the specific videos, images, or documents with names.
Content Type: The Videos are displayed by default. You can choose the content type as Videos, Images, or Documents accordingly.
Note: The Green tick indicates selection; The selected videos, images, and documents get listed at the bottom of the pop; The videos, images, and documents selected from your local drive will automatically get saved inside the library.
Click the Import button. The selected assets are imported to the carousel.
You can edit the carousel and assets name by clicking on the respective Pen icons.
Edit and customize other elements wherever required, if needed.
Once you’ve done that, click Save and Next at the bottom right, and a pop-up will appear.
Click on the ‘Yes, Save and Set as Default for Me’ button to save the recent changes or ‘No, I Would like to use it just this once’ to use the modified sales page template only in this flow and retain the old one for next time.
The ‘Save as new template and Set it default’ dialog will appear.
Enter the template name and click Save to save the sale page template.
Once you’re done with the sales page template, click on the Save and Next button.
It will take you to the Shares & Tracking tab.
Here you’ll find the video details such as video name (at the top left is editable), shared with (last shared by), templates used (video flow & sales page template), activity summary - (opened, viewed, played, & replied), video thumbnail, video name, prospect email & name, shares (number of shares), actions (medium used to send the video - copy link, send email, share/embed code), and preview.
The Edit Sales Page Template button at the top right lets you change the sales page if needed.
Then, to share the video with the prospects click on the appropriate links such as copy link, send email, and embed code from the Actions column.
Once you're done, your video is successfully shared with the prospect.
Note: The Record Video at the bottom lets you create a new video with the same flow.
