Send video emails from Pardot using the Hippo Video copy code

Requirements:

• Pardot Account

• Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user.

• Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click on this link to install.

To send video emails from Pardot using the Hippo Video copy code:

1. Log-in to  Hippo Video with your credentials.

2. Click on the Assets icon from the left navigation bar > All Assets.

3. Now, open the video from where you want to copy the code. 

4. Click the Share/Embed Code icon on the right side of the video preview. 

5. The Share slider will open up. Select the Pardot from the Email Marketing Software drop-down list and click Copy Code. 

Note: You will not see a thumbnail of the video when pasting this code into your platform. Nevertheless, the receiver can view the thumbnail and play the video.

6. Open a new tab and log in to Pardot using your existing credentials. 

7. Click on Marketing from the left menu and then on Emails.

8. You will have two options under Emails:

   1. New list email - Choose this if it’s a one-time email activity

   2. New Email Template - Choose this if it's going to be a recurring email 

9. Click on HTML at the email window and paste the code copied from Hippo Video.

10. You will notice the video getting pasted as a thumbnail.

11. Preview the email once, fill in the required details and send.
