Now, a thumbnail is generated on WordPress for any video you choose to embed or paste a URL.
Here are some simple steps you need to follow to enjoy this feature:
Login to WordPress as administrator.
Go to Appearance and select Editor.
Now choose theme functions and paste the code as shown below.
wp_oembed_add_provider( ‘https://www.hippovideo.io/video/play/*’, ‘https://www.hippovideo.io/services/oembed’ );
Finally, click Update File.
Once you’re done with these settings, open a new tab and login to Hippo Video using your credentials.
Click on Library icon from the left navbar and select the video you'd want to embed.
Then, click on Share/Embed Code
icon > Embed > Inline Embed and check Use oEmbed URL box.
Copy and Paste the oEmbed code to generate your video preview in WordPress.
