Post job listings as videos from LinkedIn Recruiter

With Hippo Video, you can now post job listings as videos for the job recruitment process.

Requirements:

  • Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user. 

  • Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click on this link to install.

  • Hippo Video + LinkedIn Recruiter integration. Click on this link to learn how to integrate.

To post jobs through videos from LinkedIn Recruiter:

  1. Log-in to LinkedIn using your credentials and click the Recruiter link on the top left.

  1. Click Jobs from the top bar > select Post a job link from the options listed.

  1. In the Post a job screen, fill in the required details and select the applicable options such as job function, employment type, and so on. 

  2. Then, click the recorder icon (Orange Hippo Video icon) on the bottom. 

  1. The recorder screen will appear. 

  2. If you have a lengthy script for your video, turn on the teleprompter before recording. The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes. To learn how to enable it, click here.

  3. You can create a new video or import a video from the Hippo Video library or record your screen and share.

  4. If you wish to edit the video then click the Edit Video button below the video preview. 

  1. Edit your video accordingly and click the Save button.

  2. If you wish to change the background for your video then click the Virtual Background button below the video preview.

  1. Choose your preferred background from the options and then click Apply. For more information about Virtual background, click here.

  1. Now, your video is ready to be shared.

  2. If you wish to send out your video via a sales page, click the Sales Page tab on the top right corner to select a template to embed, and click on the Thumbnail tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video. To learn how to set a sales page and thumbnail, click here.   

  3. The first name of the selected applicant will be populated automatically. Click on Insert Video to finish up.

Note: The applicants will be notified with their first name.

  1. You’ll notice the video link gets pasted inside the Job Description box.

  1. Fill in the details in the respective fields and then click Send/Post. You have successfully sent/posted the job from LinkedIn Recruiter.
