Hippo Video allows you to record your webcam or your screen and share the same with your team.You can also edit an existing message and reply with a video on Slack with Hippo Video integration.
Requirements:
Hippo Video Account
Slack Account
Hippo Video Chrome Extension.
To send video message in Slack:
Log-in to Slack Workspace using your existing credentials.
You can share videos as direct messages to contacts or post them in a channel within Slack.
If you have installed the Hippo Video chrome extension, you can notice the HV in Slack.
Click on a contact or a channel from the tab on the left.
In the message box, you’ll find the Hippo Video icon at the bottom right.
Click on the Hippo Video icon.
Select the option from the pop-up.
You can create a new video or import a video from the Hippo Video library or record your screen and share it.
Once you have completed, your video is now ready to be shared.
Click on Insert Video to finish up.
Your video gets pasted as a link to the message window. Hit Send icon on the right, to send it out to your contact.
