Add annotation to your video

Adding an annotation to your video is a perfect way to give a message or notify your viewers without interrupting them while watching your video. When you add an annotation to your video, it appears at the right upper corner of your video screen.

To add an annotation to your video:

  1. Login to Hippo Video using existing credentials.

  2. Click on the Assets icon from the left navigation bar All Assets. Select the video in which you want to add annotation.

  3. Below the video preview, click on the Interactive Video CTA tab > Annotation button.

  1. Now add text and a URL to direct your viewers to a page or website. To track the source, you can add a UTM to the URL.

  2. You can choose to set the appearance time for the annotation by changing the start and end time, as well.

  3. Once you’re done adding text, URL, and have set the time. Click on Apply to save the changes.

  4. You’ll notice the Annotation added to your video below the video preview.

Note: You can edit the interactive video CTA anytime.
