How to overlay images on video?

When it comes to videos, there is no fixed way to create or edit them. Adding a picture over the video is one of the common things we see. With Hippo Video,  you can quickly overlay images on your video and edit seamlessly.

To overlay images on video:

  1. First of all, prepare the image/images that you want to add to your video.

  2. Login to Hippo Video using your existing credentials.

  3. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar and then click on Videos and Documents All Assets.

  1. Select the video to which you want to add images.

  2. Below the video preview, click the Edit & Personalize button and select Quick Edit from the pop-up.

  1. After you’ve navigated to the editor page, click on the Image icon below the video preview.

  1. Go to the frame or time in the video where you want to add the image and select Add Image.

  1. Now import the image which you want to overlay on your video. You can import images from your local drive, recently used, G-Drive, library images, free stock images or shopify.

  2. Once you’ve selected, click the Import button.

  1. Once the file is imported, you can place it anywhere on the video by simply dragging it.

  2. Set the time for the image to appear on the video, aspect ratio, and opacity.

  1. Once you’re done, click the Save button to save the editing changes.

Note: If you want to add fade effects to your images navigate to Edit & Personalize button > Pro Edit.
