Email Campaigns: Helps to notify the large group at once.
Journey Emails: Helps to automate email communication with your audience throughout their lifecycle. You can use this option to group your audience based on their behavior and interactions like web page visits, email responses, etc.
Requirements:
Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user.
Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click on this link to install.
Hippo Video + Freshsales Suite integration. Click on this link on how to integrate.
Step 1 - To copy the code from HV:
Click on the Library icon from the left nav bar and select Videos and Documents.
Open the video you wish to insert inside Freshsales Suite and click on the Share/Embed icon at the right of the video preview.
Below the Share section, select the Freshsales Suite from the Email Marketing Software drop-down.
Check the Responsive box, to make your video fit within the frame size.
Once you set it, click on Copy Code.
Step 2 - To create an email campaign:
Login to your Freshsales Suite account.
Click on the Marketing Automation icon from the left panel and then click on Email Campaigns.
Click on the Create email campaign button from the top right.
Enter the campaign name and then click Create.
Step 3 - To set up a campaign:
The campaign name will be pre-filled.
Choose the subscription type.
Enter the sender’s name and the sender’s email address will be pre-filled. It is mandatory to verify the email address before sending any campaign.
Enter the email address to which the reply emails should be sent in the Reply to field.
Select the contact list to which the campaign has to be sent in the Recipient List drop-down list.
Enter the subject line for your email.
Finally, provide the Preheader and Footer details.
Once done, click Next to proceed further to the next step.
Step 4 - To select a theme:
All the pre-designed templates will be shown.
Choose the themes based on categories like newsletters, transactional, Offers, etc., for your emails. The categories can be chosen from the All templates dropdown.
Hover your mouse over the template of your choice and then click the Use Template button.
You’ll be directed to the Design page where you can customize your emails based on the different editing options. Here, you can insert a video using the HTML component.
Drag and drop the HTML component and place it on the left (your design page).
Click on the HTML component, you’ll find the HTML editor window on the right where the HTML code containing the video needs to be added.
Paste the campaign code inside the HTML editor window on the right. You’ll find the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the template on the left.
Once you’ve completed the above steps, you can preview your email by clicking on the Preview button at the top right. The configuration details can be verified and edited before sending.
Click Next. You’ll be redirected to the Review page.
Then, click on the Send Now button to send the campaign immediately, or you can schedule it for later.
