Open System Settings
Select Troubleshoot from the list
Click on Recording Audio and Run the Troubleshooter test. If there are any issues mentioned, follow the steps below:
Uninstall and reinstall your microphone drivers:
Open your Device Manager.
Search for Audio inputs and outputs.
Right-click on your audio source name and click Uninstall Device.
Once it's been removed, right-click on Audio inputs and outputs and select Scan for hardware change.
This action will reinstall your in-built drivers.
Privacy:
Open your Settings, find and click Privacy.
