Record and send hundreds of emails simultaneously with Hippo Video’s email campaign option. Here’s how you can set up an email campaign in Gmail: Firstly, prepare a spreadsheet with your recipient’s details that you want to personalize, like the first name, company name, etc., along with the email address.
Requirements:
Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user.
Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click on this link to install.
Spreadsheet with Recipient’s details.
To enable/disable the minimal view of icons:
Log-in to Gmail using your credentials.
Click on the Settings icon on the top right corner of your Gmail. The Settings pop-up will appear.
Note: You now have two different views of options to record and send video emails either use Buttons or Icons. If you feel Buttons inside the compose box are more intrusive, you can opt for Icons. By default, the Minimize buttons toggle will be disabled.

Click on the Toggle button to enable the option.
Note: If the Toggle button is on, you will have Icons; if the Toggle button is off, you will have Buttons. You can switch between both anytime.
To send video campaigns from Gmail:
Click on the Compose menu from the left-side panel.
A New Message pop-up on the right bottom. You’ll find the Send 1-1 Video and Send Video Campaign icons at the bottom left.
Click on the Send Video Campaign icon at the bottom.
Now, the world of videos is open to you. Record Video (create a new video), Video Library (import videos from Hippo Video library), or Personalized Videos (import personalized videos from Hippo Video library) and share it.
Here, for example, select the video from the personalized videos tab and click Continue.
If you wish to send out your video via a sales page template, click the Sales Page Template tab on the top right corner to select a sales page template to embed.
Select the Thumbnail tab in the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video. It is always recommended to choose a GIF thumbnail.
Click on the Add Virtual Backgroundicon, to select the preferred background for your video and click Apply.
Select the Edit and Personalize button below the video preview and choose the appropriate options, Quick Edit or Personalize Video, if needed.
Once you’re done, click Continue.
Select the Email Templates and click Continue.
Click on Import Contacts (contacts will be imported from the spreadsheet) or Add Contacts (add a contact manually).
Here, for example, click on Import Contacts.
Select the contact form google sheets or google contacts and click Insert Video.
You will notice that the contacts are imported to the Edit Contacts field, and the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the compose mailbox.
Now, click on the Send via Hippo Video button.
Note: The Edit icon below the thumbnail will redirect you to the Edit Video screen, and the Delete icon helps to delete the video (optional).
You have successfully sent a video email to your prospect from Gmail.
To send a video reply:
Open the email and then click on the Reply button at the bottom.
You will notice the Hippo Video icon in Reply message at the bottom left.
Click on the Send 1:1 Video icon and then Start recording the video or Record with screen-recording or Choose from library.
Now, click on Send. You have successfully sent a video reply to your prospect from Gmail.
To track your videos:
Apart from the convenience of recording and sending videos, You can also track your videos using Hippo Video real-time analytics within your Gmail account.
Navigate to the Notification icon available in the right-hand corner to see how your video emails are performing.
Navigate to the Email Reports icon available in the right-hand corner,
Click on the Gmail Reports tab to see the total count of your video emails sent, opened, and watched rate.
Click on the Campaign Reports tab to see how your video emails are sent and their corresponding actions.
FAQ: Is there any way to minimize CTA buttons inside the Gmail compose window?
Yes, there is an option to enable the minimal view of icons inside the Gmail Compose
