With Hippo Video, you can now use an image and video as a virtual background for your videos by using the Virtual Background feature. It can be any existing animation or background videos or images that you want to use as your virtual background. In addition to that, you can also use your webpage screenshot as the virtual background to add value to your brand.
To create videos and add virtual backgrounds inside the iOS app:
Open the Hippo Video app on your device and click Sign In to login your account.
The Hippo Video Home screen will appear.
Click on the Record a Video tab.
The recorder screen will appear. Click on the red Circle button at the bottom to start recording.
Once you’re done, click the Stop button.
You’ll be able to see the preview of the video.
If you find the black bars on the left and right side of the video, click on Remove Black Bars toggle button.
The Use this Video button lets you proceed with the recorded video and the Retake button lets you record the video again.
Click the Virtual background button.
Select the background from the library.
The selected background will be applied to the video. Now, pick your sales page and then click Send Mail/Share button.
You’ll be redirected to the email window. Enter the email address and click Send Mail icon at the top right.
Note: In case the email address has not been configured, you'll be prompted with a message to do so. The settings for the email should be made through the Email Configuration tab within the web interface of your Hippo Video account.

You’ll be prompted with the message as ‘Mail Sent Successfully’.
In case, if you click the Share button. The Share Via slider will open up.
Select your preferred share option and proceed. Your video will be shared successfully.
To change the virtual background for the existing videos:
Open the Hippo Video app on your device and click Sign In to login your account. You’ll be redirected to the library screen.
Select the video for which you want to change the background and click the Virtual Background button.
Then, select the background of your choice.
The selected background will be applied to the video. Now, pick your sales page and then click Send Mail/Share button.
You’ll be redirected to the email window. Enter the email address and click Send Mail.
The ‘Mail Sent Successfully’ message will be prompted.
In case, if you click the Share button. The Share Via slider will open up.
Select your preferred share option and proceed. Your video will be shared successfully.
