How do teachers create a class inside Google Classroom?

To create a class: 

1. Go to Google Classroom and log in using your existing credentials.

2. Click on the Plus icon at the top right and then select Create Class from the pop-up.

Note: If you don’t see Create class, your account only lets you join the class. Switch accounts or contact your Google Workspace administrator for help.

3. Enter the class name, section, subject, and room, and then click Create. You’ll notice the class is created successfully.

4. The Classroom automatically creates a class code that you can use to invite students to the class. 

Note: You can always get the class code at the top of the class stream.
