Manage tags for your assets

Creating tags for different categories makes finding relevant assets like videos, sales pages, images, & documents quite easy. Tags can either be manually added or assigned to a specific asset type. 

 

Accessible only by admins:

  • Control the use of tags in your organization.

  • Specify who can add custom tags.

  • Tags can be added by admins by default. In RBAC, you can change this setting to allow other admins to create, edit, delete, and manage tags.

  • Allow users to add pre-populated tags to their assets by tapping on them (the default tags are defined by the admin).

 

Here are some tips: 

  • You can tag assets with appropriate keywords to make them easier for users and admins.

  • You can tag multiple assets simultaneously. 

 

Note: This feature is available only for 'Pro, Growth and Enterprise Plans' and only for Admins.

 

Here are some places where you can add tags inside the Product: 

  • Quick preview page that appears once you finish recording (add tags to your assets)

  • Normal preview page displayed when you click on a video within the library (add tags to your assets)

  • Sales page creation (add tags to your assets)

  • Sales page - Import pop-up (filter tags to select an appropriate asset)

  • Sales page settings (add tags to your assets)

  • Sales page listing (filter tags to choose an appropriate asset) 

  • Video library (filter tags to choose an appropriate asset) 

  • Virtual background (add tags to your assets)

  • Campaigns (filter tags to select an appropriate asset)

  • All Dynamic integrations inside virtual background pop-up (add tags to your assets) 


The ‘Manage Tags’ Screen:

  • Name: Displays the tag name.

  • Time Used: Total number of tag usage by the user/admin.

  • Created At: Indicates the date and time the tag was created.

  • Created By: Displays the email address of the tag creator.

  • Action: Allows the admin to edit/delete the tags.

  • Search: You can use ‘search’ to find a specific tag.

  • Check box: Check the box next to a tag name to make multiple selections for deletion.

  • At the bottom of the page, you can specify how many items should be displayed per page.

To create tags: 

  1. Log in to Hippo Video using your credentials.

  2. Click on the More icon > Settings > Tags, or click on the Settings icon from the left navbar > Tags.    

  1. If you have any existing tags, they will be displayed here. Click the Create Tag button at the top right.

  1. Enter the tag name and click the Save button. 

  1. You’ll be prompted with the message as ‘Tag added successfully’.

  2. A new tag is added to the list.


To edit tags:

  1. Click on the Editicon and modify the tag name.

  2. Once done, click the Update button.


  1. You’ll be prompted with the message as ‘Tag updated successfully’.


To delete tags:

  1. Click on the Delete icon and then click the Delete button.


  1. You’ll be prompted with the message as ‘Tag deleted successfully’.

  2. You can also select multiple boxes to delete at the same time.


Feature availability inside the product:

The screenshots below illustrate this feature's availability inside the product during workflows such as sales pages, videos, images, and documents. 


Quick Preview Page (add tags to your assets):

  1. Click on the Create button at the top right corner and select Camera Only.

  1. To start your recording, click the Record button.

  2. Once you’re done, click the Stop button. You’ll be redirected to the quick preview page. 

  3. On the right side of the video preview, you’ll find the Tags option. Click on the text box to view all the tags. 

  4. Choose the tags according to your preferences.

  5. Or enter the new tag and then click the Create button.

Note: By default, the new tag will be added automatically inside the Settings > Tags section.


Normal Preview Page (add tags to your assets): 

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Videos and Documents All Assets > Select the preferred video.

  2. On the right side of the video preview, you’ll find the Tags option. Click on the text box to view all the tags. 

  3. Choose the tags according to your preferences.

  4. Or enter the new tag and then click the Create button.


Sales Page Creation (add tags to your asset):

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Sales Pages.

  2. Click the Create New button at the top right.

  3. Hover the mouse over the preferred sales page template and click the Create Page button.

  4. Once you’re done with your sales page, click the Save and Next button at the bottom right.

  5. You will be redirected to a page where you can add tags for your sales page.

  6. Click on the text box to view all the tags and choose the tags according to your preferences.

  7. Then, click the Save and Next button.


Sales Page - Import Pop Up (filter tags to select the appropriate asset):

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Sales Pages.

  2. Click the Create New button at the top right.

  3. Hover the mouse over the preferred sales page template and click the Create Page button.

  4. Click the Add Primary Video button.

  1. Or click the Add Slider Videos, links, and Documents button.

  1. Click on the text box to view all the tags. Choose the tags according to your preferences.

  2. The assets will get listed based on the chosen tag.


Sales Page Settings (add tags to your assets):

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Sales Pages.

  2. Click on the Sales Page name.

  1. You’ll be redirected to the sales page settings.

  2. On the right side of the video preview, click on the Settings from the center pane.

  3. Near the Tags option, click on the text box to view all the tags and choose the tags according to your preferences.


Sales Page Listing (filter tags to select the appropriate sales page):

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Sales Pages.

  2. At the top, you’ll find the option to filter tags. Click on the text box to view all the tags and choose the tags according to your preferences.

  3. The sales pages will get listed accordingly.


Video Library (filter tags to select the appropriate asset):

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Videos and Documents All Assets.

  2. At the top, you’ll find the option to filter tags. Click on the text box to view all the tags and choose the tags according to your preferences.

  3. The assets will get listed accordingly.


Virtual Background (add tags to your assets):

  1. Click on the Library icon from the left navbar > Videos and Documents All Assets > Select the preferred video.

  2. Below the video preview, click on the Create Virtual Background icon. 

  1. The Virtual BG slider will appear on the right. 

  2. Below the video preview, you’ll find the Tags option. Click on the text box to view all the tags. 

  3. Choose the tags according to your preferences.

  4. The videos will get listed accordingly.



Campaigns (filter tags to select the appropriate asset):

  1. Click on the Campaigns icon from the left navbar and click on the Create Campaign button.

  2. Here, click on the Video tab and click on the Proceed button.

  1. You’ll find the Tags option. Click on the text box to view all the tags. 

  2. Choose the tags according to your preferences.

  3. The videos will get listed accordingly. Select the video and proceed further.


Virtual background pop-up inside all dynamic integrations (add tags to your asset):

  1. Go to your favorite tool and click on the compose box.

  2. Click on the Hippo Video icon and start with your recording.

  3. Once you’re done, click the Finish recording button.

  4. Below the video preview, click on the Virtual Background icon.

  1. You’ll find the Tags option. Click on the text box to view all the tags. 

  1. Choose the tags according to your preferences.

  2. The videos will get listed accordingly. Select the video and proceed further.
