Guest recording helps your customers/users record a video and send it back to you. All you have to do is share a link with them. Guests who are recording a video don't require an account with Hippo Video.

This feature will be available based on your plan.
The Guest user needs to install the Hippo Video extension for Chrome if it is screen recording. Click here, to install the chrome extension.
To send a URL for a guest recording:
Login to Hippo Video using your existing credentials.
Click on the Guest icon from the left navigation bar.
Then, click the Copy URL button at the bottom.
The URL is copied.
Now, share the copied URL with your prospects through various platforms.
Here, for example, sharing the URL via Gmail.
The prospect/end-user will receive an email as shown in the below example. Click on the link.
They will be redirected to the Hippo Video screen where you need to select the recording options and then click the Record button.
Once that's completed, click the Finish Recording button at the bottom.
They will be redirected to the following screen. Here, they can enter your email address & name, and description.
Click the Edit Video button below the video preview, to do basic editing in the video (if required).
Note: Click the Retake button at the top right, to retake the video (if required).
Once done, click the Submit button at the bottom or the top right of the screen.
The video will be submitted successfully and can be accessed by clicking on the URL.
Also, the videos will be always available inside the Guest tab.
