Send hundreds of emails all at once with Salesforce. Not only does it allow you to send 1:1 video emails, but you can also send bulk emails with ease.
Requirements:
Hippo Video Account. Sign up here if you are a new user.
Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click on this link to install.
Salesforce Account.
To send your campaigns, you will first need to create them and add leads or contacts.
Step 1 - To create a campaign:
Log in to Salesforce using your credentials.
Click on the Campaigns tab from the top.
Select the New button at the top right.
The New Campaign window will appear.
Enter the Campaign Name (mandatory) and then click Save.
You’ve now successfully created your campaign.
Add leads, contacts, or both and send campaigns as needed.
Step 2 - To add leads:
Click on the Add Leads button next to the Campaign Members heading.
The window Add Leads to Campaign will appear. Click on the Plus icon to add the leads and click Next at the bottom right.
Once you’ve chosen the leads, click the Submit button at the bottom right.
You’ll be notified with the message ‘Campaign was successfully updated.’
The total number of leads will be populated on the campaigns page, as shown in the below example.
Step 3 - To add contacts:
Click on the Add Contacts button next to the Campaign Members heading.
The window Add Contacts to Campaign will appear. Click on the Plus icon to add the leads and click Next at the bottom right.
Once you’ve chosen the contacts, click the Submit button at the bottom right.
You’ll be notified with the message ‘Campaign was successfully updated.’
The total number of contacts will be populated on the campaigns page, as shown in the below example.
Note: Leads and contacts are included in the total number of members.
Step 4 - To send campaigns:
Select Send List Email from the drop-down.
To record your personalized campaign video, click on the Hippo Video icon at the bottom left of the Compose window.
The world of videos is now open to you. You can create a new video, import a video from the Hippo Video library, or record your screen and share it.
To create a new video, click on the Start Recording button.
Once you're done, click the Finish Recording button.
Once you’ve completed your videos, it is ready to be shared. Click on the Insert Video button.
You must select the user type as "leads" or "contacts," depending on the recipient of your videos. It will help you easily track the performance.
Note: Based on the user type (leads/contacts) selection in Hippo Video, we’ll map the respective merge fields in Salesforce.
Below is an example of the Leads option selected.
Your video is now ready to be shared. To do this, click the Insert Video button.
You’ll notice that the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the Compose window.
Hit Save.
Your video campaign is now sent to the selected contacts from Salesforce.
