A Cadence is a repeatable series of steps that helps your sales process to create a consistent process.
To create cadences from SalesLoft:
Log-in to SalesLoft using your credentials.
Click Cadences from the quick navigation bar on the left and then click on Create Cadence at the top right.
The Cadence Settings page will appear.
Enter the cadence name, function, priority, etc.
Scroll down to set cadence type.
Again, scroll down to select the stages. Once you’re done, click on Save Cadence at the bottom left.
The Cadence will be saved.
You can choose either Start from Scratch, or Start with Framework options to create a cadence. Here we’ve chosen ‘Start from Scratch’.
Select your preferred option from the pop-up. Here we’ve selected ‘Email’.
Then, enter the Day you would like the step to run and click Next: Step Content at the bottom right.
In the compose window, click on the Hippo Video icon at the top right.
How to add steps using the Hippo Video icon?
In the compose window, click on the Hippo Video icon and select the option from the pop-up.
Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter. The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes. To learn how to enable it, click here.
You can create a new video or import a video from the Hippo Video library or record your screen and share it.
Once you have completed, your video is now ready to be shared.
Click on Copy to Clipboard to finish up.
Press Ctrl+V and you will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the create template window.
The Preview Mode will show how your template will look.
Click on Add Step, to add the existing step.
Or click on Add & Create Another, to repeat the above steps to add more video emails into the sequence at your desired intervals.
Note: Click on the Dynamic Fields icon at the top and select the merge fields, if required.
How to add steps using the Insert Template option?
Click on Insert Template at the top of the Create Step window.
From the listed templates, click on the appropriate template.
Once you’ve selected, click on Insert.
You’ll notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the create step window.
