How to record and send videos inside Google Classroom?

To send a video (teacher or student):

  1. Go to Google Classroom and login using your existing credentials. 

  2. Once the teacher sends an assignment, you’ll be able to see the message at the top of the dashboard as “Stream was updated - Show”.

  3. Click on the Show link, you’ll be able to see the message below along with the Hippo Video icon.

  1. Click on Hippo Video icon, to record a video or choose the video from the Hippo Video library or record your screen.

Note: Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter. The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes. Click here to learn how to enable it
  1. To record a new video, click Start Recording.

  2. Once you’re done, click Finish Recording.

  3. Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.

  4. Click on Edit Video, to modify the video, if required.

  1. If you wish to send out your video via a sales page, click the Sales Page tab on the top right corner to select a sales page template to embed.

  1. Then, click on the Thumbnail tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video.

  2. Once you’re done, click on Insert Video.

  3. You will notice the video gets pasted as a link inside the message box.

  1. Click Post. The video will be sent to the respective person.
