To create videos inside the iOS app:
Open the Hippo Video app on your device and click on Sign In.
Click on the Record Video tab.
At the bottom of the screen, click on the red Circle button to start recording.
Note:
To add a script, click on the Add Teleprompter button at the bottom.
To pause the recording - click on the Pause icon and click on the Resume icon, to continue with the recording.
Click on the Flip camera icon, to focus the recording person (switch between the front and rear-facing cameras).
Once you’re done, click on the red Square button. You'll be redirected to the video preview page.
Note: You also have an option to retake your video, if required.
By default, the background of your video will be black.
To remove the black bars (on the left and right side of the video), click on Remove Black Bars toggle button.
You will notice that the black bars are replaced with the blurred image from the existing video.
To change the virtual background, click on the Virtual Background button. The screen Import from Library will appear.
You’ll notice that all the images that are available on your phone will be listed.
Choose your preferred background image.
Once that’s done, your video will be replaced with the background of your choice.
Tap on the Pick your sales page button to select the sales page.
Enter the title for your video.
Note: By clicking on the Play icon on the video thumbnail, you can always see a preview of your video before sending it.
Tap on Save, which can be found at the top right corner.
Once you’re done, click Send Email.
You will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the compose mailbox.
Enter the email address, subject line, and message.
Then, click on the Send icon at the top right corner of your device.
You have successfully sent a video email to your prospect from your device.
Note: By clicking on the Play icon on the video thumbnail, you can always see a preview of your video before sending it.
