With Hippo Video, you can now embed a video inside the Zendesk article that is made quite easy with just a few clicks.
Requirements:
Hippo Video Account.
- Zendesk Account.
To copy your embed code:
If you are a new user then click here, to sign up for Hippo Video or existing user then click here, to sign in to Hippo Video using existing credentials.
Click on the Assets icon from the left navigation bar > All Assets.
Open the video of your choice.
On the right side of the video preview page, click on Share/Embed icon and then click Embed > Inline Embed > COPY CODE.
To paste the copied code:
Login to Zendesk with your existing credentials.
On the top left side of the screen, click Add > Article.
Enter the title.
Place the cursor in the content area and then click on </> Source Code.
Now, paste the copied code in the desired HTML editor.
You will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail.
Now, click . The video will play directly on the page where it’s embedded.
You can always enter the full-screen mode by clicking on this at the bottom of the player and press the Esc button from your keyboard, to exit full-screen mode.
