No sound on your video? Disable your Audio Enhancements (Windows 10 users)

To troubleshoot sound issues on Hippo Video for Windows 10, try disabling audio enhancements. Here’s how:

  • Right-click the speaker icon located in the system tray (bottom-right corner).

  • Select "Sounds" from the context menu to open the Sound settings window.

  • Go to the "Playback" tab to view the list of audio devices.

  • Select your currently used audio device (e.g., speakers or headphones) and click "Properties" at the bottom right.

  • In the Properties window, go to the "Enhancements" tab.

  • Find a list of audio enhancements and check the box next to "Disable all enhancements."

  • Click the "Apply" to save the changes and then click "OK" to close the Properties window.

  • Test Hippo Video to see if the sound issue is resolved.
