If you wish to change your email address associated with your Hippo Video account, please contact our Support Team and provide them with the new email address you want to link it with. You won’t be able to change the email address directly from the profile settings of your account.
Note: Post this transition you can access your Hippo Video account only with the new email address.
What happens next?
Once the process is initiated, you will receive a confirmation email on your existing email address. Please acknowledge your confirmation to Hippo Video and enter the new email address in the provided box.
Click on the link provided in the email and follow the steps, your Hippo Video will be transferred to the new email address.
However, if you’re unable to locate the email with the change link, check all the folders in your inbox including the spam folder.
To prevent emails landing up in Spam folder in Gmail
If “notifications@hippovideo.io” is labeled as spam by Gmail:
Select the checkbox ➤ Click on “More” ➤ Choose the option "Not spam."
To avoid emails getting blocked in Outlook
Add “notifications@hippovideo.io” to your Contacts and add the address to your safe senders.
In the top-right corner, Click the cog icon ➤ Click on More Mail Settings ➤ Select “Safe and Blocked Senders” ➤ Select “Safe Senders" ➤ Add notifications@hippovideo.io to the list.
Reset Password
If you want to reset your password, you can locate the option to do so by accessing the Profile section located at the bottom left of the navigation bar.
Once you click on “Change Password”, a pop up box appears. Enter your current password, followed by your new Password.
Once you have confirmed your New Password, click on “Change” and your password will get updated.
