To send a personalized video campaign from ActiveCampaign:
Log-in to ActiveCampaign using your existing credentials.
Click on Campaigns icon from the quick navigation bar on the left.
Click on the Create a campaign button.
Enter the campaign name and select the template of your choice.
Here we’ve selected the Standard template.
Click on Next.
Choose the contact list you would like to include this campaign.
Note: You can click on Save and exit at the top-right corner anytime you wish to exit the campaign without sending (saved as a draft).
Click on Next. Here you have the option to choose an existing design or create a new one.
Click on Start From Scratch at the top of the existing design.
Choose a template type and click on Continue.
The ‘Sender Details’ window will pop up.
Enter the Email Subject and click Continue.
The email builder will load the template you selected.
Now, replace the default image & text with the desired video and content you wish to send out.
Once you’re done, navigate to the right side of the screen and click on Options.
Now, scroll down and drag & drop the HTML Block component in the desired place. The ‘Custom HTML’ editor popups automatically.
To select the video, login to Hippo Video account using existing credentials.
Click on the Assets icon from the left navigation bar > All Assets and open the video that you wish to send.
On the right side of the video preview, click on the Share/Embed icon.
From the Email Marketing Software drop-down list, select ActiveCampaign, and click on Copy Code.
Note: Check the Responsive box to make your video compatible with different screen orientations like PC or mobile.
Now, to embed the video go back to the ActiveCampaign tab.
Paste the copied code inside the ‘Custom HTML’ editor.
Once you’re done, click on Save.
The Video thumbnail will not be generated by pasting this code into your platform. However, the receiver will be able to see the video thumbnail and play the video.
Now, click Next to move to the ‘Campaign Summary’ page.
You’ll be able to review the details and then click on Send Now > Send Campaign Now.
You will receive a confirmation pop-up after the email campaign is sent.
