Set up Teleprompter video scripts

If you’ve been memorizing your script before recording a video, you don’t have to anymore. Enabling the teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt you with the scripts on the screen and let you talk without needing to look down to consult your notes. 

To add script for Teleprompter feature:

  1. Log in to  Hippo Video with your existing credentials.

  2. Hover the mouse over the HV Studio icon from the left navigation bar and select Teleprompter Scripts

  1. Click the Create New Script button in the top right corner. 

  1. Now you can add scripts with our New AI Script Generator. Now, click on the "Try AI Script Generator" option.

  2. Select Script Generation Option

    The AI Script Generator offers two options for generating your script:

    Option A: Generate from Templates

    • Choose from the available templates, such as "Follow Up," "Pre-meeting Reminder," or "Prospecting."

    • Select the tone of your script: professional, formal, casual, confident, inspiring, or funny.
    • Set the desired script duration: short, medium, or long (1, 3, or 5 minutes).
    • Click on "Generate Script."
  3. Your script will be generated based on your selections.

    Option B: Enter Your Own Prompt

    • To create a custom script, select the "Enter Your Own Prompt" option.
    • Enter a specific prompt or topic for your video script, ensuring that you provide complete sentences to receive the best output.
    • Click on "Generate."

  4. Your custom script will be generated based on the prompt you entered.
    • Click on Next button once the prompt is finalised 

  5. Enter the script title. 

  6. Visibility: Select the users or groups from the search field.

  1. By default, the selected users or groups will have view access.

  1. Set access as Viewer/Editor for the selected users or groups and select the Remove Access option to keep the page private if you prefer. 

  1. To provide access to the scripts to others in the organizationn, check the Share with everyone in the organization box. The Everyone in the Organization option will get listed below the Shared with box. You can select the access accordingly.

  1. Add tags and type the script.

  2. From the Merge Fields drop-down, select the appropriate option.

  3. Once done, click Save.

  1. The new script will get added successfully.

To search for the script:

  1. Click on Filter by drop-down list from the top and then click on All scripts (lists both my scripts and shared)/My scripts/Shared.

  1. If you want to search for the specific script in the name, enter the name in the Search field at the top and press Enter.

To edit the script:

  1. Click the Edit icon near the appropriate script and modify the changes.

  2. Once done, click the Save button.

To clone and delete the script:

  1. Click on the Ellipsis icon near the script and select the option. 

  1. Then, click Yes or No to complete the process.

To share the script:

  1. Check the box near the appropriate script and click Share from the top. 

  1. Select Visibility and then click Save.

  1. The selected script is shared successfully.
