  1. Log-in to  Hippo Video with your existing credentials.

  2. Click on  Sales from the tab on top and then click on Create Prospecting Videos.

  3. If you are new to videos, you could use the in-built teleprompter feature.

Note: Skip to Step 9 to record without using the teleprompter.

  1. Switch on the  toggle. 

  2. You can either choose an existing script or add a new one.

  3. To add a new one, click on Add New Script.

  4. In the new tab, fill in the details, and hit Save.

  5. Navigate back to your recording tab and click Refresh  near the Add New Script button.

Note: You can modify text size, line space, and speed of the teleprompter before the recording begins.

  1. Choose your new script and click on Start Recording.

  2. Click on Record Screen at the bottom of the video recording, to enable the screen recording.

Note: You will notice Webcam Mic are selected by default. To capture your screen while recording the message, select Screen. Otherwise, you can leave it unchecked and proceed to the next step.

  1. Click on Upload at the bottom of the video, to choose an existing video from the local drive/recorded videos (hippo video library)/g-drive.

  2. Once the recording is complete, click on Finish Recording.

  3. Your video will now be available for playback. Click on Retake to re-record your video.

  4. Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.

  5. Click on Edit Video and then on the Trim icon, to trim out the beginning or end of the video.

  1. You could also crop, add emojis or callouts, blur out parts of the screen or resize your video.

  2. Click on Personalize Video followed by +Add Text to add a message or greeting to your prospect.

  3. Use the orange seek bar at the bottom to enter Start Time and End Time for the text and click Save. It determines the duration and position of the text in the video.

  1. Click on Grab the attention of your prospects with a GIF Preview.

Note: Always recommended to choose a GIF thumbnail because - First and Last few portions of your video will be merged and shown as a thumbnail (endless loop/loop continuously). Your customer will get to know that it is a video being attached and not an image (static)

  1. Alternatively, you could also upload an image or pick a frame from the video.

  2. Click on Add a link to book meetings/demos and increase prospect engagement. 

  3. By default, the Meeting Link is selected. Just fill in your name, designation, button name, link to your calendar, and click on Add.

  1. You can also add CTAs and images to redirect users to a particular page or add a HTML code.

  2. Click on Choose a Sales Landing Page to embed your video and select a template of your choice. 

  3. Click on Preview to take a quick look at your recorded video placed inside the sales page before sharing the link/sending email.

  4. To share the link:

    1. Click on Share Link and you will notice the various options to share your videos: Copy link, Export via Social Media, and Share via Integration tools.

    1. Enter the email address, to generate the tracking URL.

    2. You also have an option to Copy Link with thumbnail/Copy Link (optional).

    3. Or click on the appropriate social media icons, to share.

    4. Or click on the appropriate integration tools, to share.

    5. Once you’re done, hit Done

  1. To send video email

    1.  Click on Send Email and you will see the recorded video in the email body.

    1. Enter your prospect’s email address, a catchy subject line, the email message (choose a template or enter a message).

    2. You also have an option to send out the mail later by selecting Schedule this email box. 

    3. Pick a date and time for the video email to be sent and hit Send.

  1. To track the performance of each video sent to a specific prospect:

    1. Click on  Sales from the tab on top and then click on Prospecting Video Emails. You will notice the listing of all the prospects and their activities made against your sent videos. 

    1. In the Search field, enter the prospect and press Enter

    2. Now, you will be able to see the performance of all the sent videos made by the specific prospect.
