Do you want to attract more viewers to your videos? Use thumbnails, which are the key to getting clicks and views on multiple platforms. A thumbnail is a reduced-size version of an image or video. Video thumbnails are the face of a video; most users choose the videos with catchy thumbnails.
Here’s how you can select various thumbnails to your video with Hippo Video Library:
Selecting a thumbnail for existing videos:
Login to Hippo Video with your credentials.
Click on Library icon from the left navbar and select the video to choose the thumbnail.
In the video preview page, click on Customize Video from the tab on the right.
You will have four various thumbnails to set for your video on the right.
Note: The default frame and GIF preview are created automatically by the Hippo Video after the video creation.
Default frame - Usually, the Static image, i.e., the Default frame, will be selected.
GIF Preview - Always recommended to choose a GIF preview.
GIF preview (animated) - First and Last few portions of your video will be merged and shown as a thumbnail (endless loop/loop continuously). Your customer will get to know that it is a video attached and not an image (static).
