Integrate HubSpot chatbot inside Hippo Video sales page

Generally, the chatbot helps us automate your customer service. It allows customers the option of self-service and answers to a range of questions quickly & easily at any point. It is also a  key to optimize sales pages for a high conversion rate by engaging them on a more personal level. With Hippo Video, you can now embed a Hubspot chatbot inside the Sales page. 

Requirements:

  • Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user.

  • HubSpot Account. 


To integrate a HubSpot chatbot inside the Hippo Video sales page: 

  1. Click on the Library  icon from the left navbar > Sales Pages > Create New at the top right.

  1. Hover the mouse over the template of your choice and click the Create Page button.

  1. Add your primary video and customize the sales page as you want it to be.

  2. Below the primary video, click the button and select the option as Chat from the drop-down & do the green tick.

  1. You’ll notice the options listed at the top based on your selection.

  2. Here, you can change the button text, button color, font type, font size, font style, and select chat type (chat used).

  1. Select HubSpot from Chat used drop-down and click the Chat configuration link.

  1. The HubSpot configuration dialog will appear.

Note: The Tracking Code is mandatory to embed the chatbot inside the sales page.


To get the Tracking Code from HubSpot:

  1. Log in to HubSpot using existing credentials. 

  2. On the top right corner, click on the Settings icon.

  3. From the left side panel, click on Tracking & Analysis Tracking Code

  1. Click the Copy button and copy the Embed Code

  1. Navigate to Hippo Video and paste the tracking code (<!-- Start of HubSpot Embed Code --> ……..<!-- End of HubSpot Embed Code -->

  2. Once you’re done, click Save.

  1. You shall receive a confirmation message at the top of the page.

  2. By clicking the Edit configuration link, you can modify the chatbot anytime.

  1. Once you’re done, click the Save and Next at the bottom right. You’ll be redirected to the sales page preview.

Note: If you do not wish to link the chatbot with the CTA button, but rather wish to appear on the sales page automatically, please follow the steps below.


To integrate HubSpot chat inside HV for the existing sales page:

  1. Go to Sales Pages and choose your preferred sales page from the listing in which you wish to embed the Drift chatbot. 

  2. In the Sales Page Preview, click on Integrate > HubSpot from the right tab.

  3. Enter the tracking code and click Save. Now, you’ve successfully added the chatbot to your sales page.


Want to check out how your sales page looks after integrating a chatbot? 

  1. Go to sales page listing and copy the Page Link

  1. Open the new tab and paste the URL. 

  2. Click on the Chat with us button/icon underneath the video preview to initiate a chat with HubSpot.



How do I customize my chatbots that appear on the Hippo Video sales page? 

  1. Go to your HubSpot account. 

  2. On the top right corner, click on the Settings icon.

  3. Click on Inbox Inboxes from the left side panel.

  1. Hover the mouse over the chat and click Edit.

  1. You’ll find various options to customize your chatbot such as Chatbot display color, Chat widget placement (left/right), etc.

  2. Once done, click Save at the bottom left corner. The changes will get applied to the upcoming chatbot.


Note: In the case of multiple chatbots inside HubSpot, you have an option to decide when the bot should appear on your sales page by setting conditions in the Target section inside HubSpot. For more details, please click here, to learn and explore the possibilities.
