To create prospect and send video emails:
Log-in to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
Click on Sales from the left navbar and then click on Prospecting Video Emails.
You can choose an existing prospect or import from CSV or sync with any CRM or add from google prospects or add a new one.
To add a new one, click on Add Prospect from the top right.
In the Create Prospect dialog, fill in the details.
You now have the option to send a 1:1 video to your prospect right away or later.
Note: You can track all the videos that are sent to a prospect.
To record later on:
Click Create and you will see your contact listed under All Prospects.
Now, click on Record & Send Video under Action and skip to Step 10.
To record the video immediately:
Click Create & Record Video.
If you are new to videos, you could use the in-built teleprompter feature.
Note: Skip to Step 18 to record without using the teleprompter.
Switch on the toggle, if you have a script.
You can either choose an existing script or add a new one.
To add a new one, click on Add New Script.
In the new tab, fill in the details, and click Save.
Navigate back to your recording tab and click Refresh near the Add New Script.
Note: You have the option to modify the text size, line space, and speed of the teleprompter before the recording begins.
Choose your new script and proceed further.
You will see two buttons - ‘Record Screen’ and ‘Upload’.
Record Screen at the bottom of the video recording, to enable the screen recording.
Note: You will notice Webcam & Mic are selected by default. To capture your screen while recording the message, select Screen. Otherwise, you can leave it unchecked and proceed to the next step.
Upload at the bottom of the video, to choose an existing video from the local drive/recorded videos (hippo video library)/g-drive.
Now, click on Start Recording.
Once the recording is complete, click on Finish Recording.
Note: By default, your video will be saved in the Library. In case if you want to send/share the video then click Save and Exit on the top right corner.
Click on Retake Video to record your video again.
Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.
Select the folder to save the video below the Add to folder.
Note: By default, the video will be saved inside the Others folder.
To personalize your video:
Click on Edit Video and then on the Trim icon, to trim out the beginning or end of the video.
You could also crop, add emojis or callouts, blur out parts of the screen or resize your video.
Click on Add text or Image followed by +Add Text to add a message or greeting to your prospect and +Add Image to add an image.
Use the orange seek bar at the bottom to enter Start Time and End Time for the text and click Save. This determines the duration and position of the text in the video.
Click on Virtual Background, to select the preferred background for your video and then click on Apply.
Before sharing the video, you have an advanced option where you can select GIF thumbnail, add links to book meetings, and choose a sales page to embed a video. To do so, click on the Show Advanced Options link at the bottom of the screen.
Click on Grab the attention of your prospects with a GIF Preview. It is always recommended to choose a GIF thumbnail.
Alternatively, you could also upload an image or pick a frame from the video.
Click on Add a link to book meetings/demo and increase prospect engagement.
By default, the Meeting Link is selected. Just fill in your name, designation, button name, link to your calendar, and click on Add.
You can also add CTAs and images to redirect users to a particular page or add a HTML code.
Click on Choose a Sales Landing Page to embed your video and select a template of your choice.
Click on the Send For Review button at the left bottom of the screen, to share your video for peer review before sending it with your prospects (optional).
Once you’ve done, you’ll have an option to Copy Link or Send Email at the bottom of the screen.
To copy the link, click on Copy Link. The following screen will appear.
Note: By entering the email address, you’ll be able to track the action made by your prospect against the video sent via notification inside the Hippo Video.
To track the sent videos:
Click on the Hippo Video Chrome Extension icon at the top right on the browser.
Enter email address, and first name of your prospect.
Click on Copy Link and you will notice the various tools to share your videos in the drop down.
Click on your favorite tool and you will get a message that your link is copied and ready to be placed in your favorite tool.
Now, paste the copied link inside your preferred platform/tool.
Or click on Send Email, to send the link via email and you will see the recorded video in the email body.
Enter your prospect’s email address, a catchy subject line, the email message (choose a template or enter a message).
Use Insert Merge Fields to personalize your recipient’s details and account user’s details.
You also have an option to send out the mail later by selecting Schedule this email box.
Pick a date and time for the video email to be sent and hit Send.
Enter the first name of your prospect and hit Send. You will be prompted with the message that mail sent successfully.
