Requirements:

  • Hippo Video Account. Sign-up here if you are a new user. 

  • Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click on this link to install.

To send video emails from Outreach:

  1. Log-in to Outreach using your credentials.

  2. Click on Prospects from the quick navigation bar on the left and select a prospect from the list.

  3. On the right side of the screen, below the prospects name, click on the prospect’s email ID.

  1. In the compose email window, you’ll notice the Hippo Video icon at the bottom left.


  1. Click on the Hippo Video icon. Select the option from the pop-up.

  2. Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter. The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes. To learn how to enable it, click here.

  3. You can create a new video or import a video from the Hippo Video library or record your screen and share.

  4. Once you have completed, your video is now ready to be shared.

  5. If you wish to send out your video via a sales page, click the Sales Page tab on the top right corner to select a sales page template to embed and then, click on the Thumbnail tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video.   6. Once you’re done, click on the Copy to Clipboard

  7. Now, press Ctrl+V (if you are working on Windows OS) or Command+V (if you are working on Mac OS) to paste the video.

  8. You will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the compose mailbox.

  1. Enter the prospect’s email and choose the template or enter the message below. 

  2. Now, click on the Send. You have successfully sent a video email to your prospect from Outreach.
