Inserting a hub-spot tracking code enables you to personalize all future communication to a prospect. Any video or sales page sent to the prospect gets personalized automatically based on the merge field that you have added. For example First Name, Email, Company Name, etc. The tracking code also helps in disabling any lead forms in videos, as Hippo Video recognizes him or her as an existing prospect in the system.
Log-in to your HubSpot account and click on the gear icon on the top right.
Click on ‘Reports’ from the list of options on the left and select ‘Tracking code’.
Your tracking code is the number displayed in the second line of the script before '.js'. For example, the tracking code displayed in the below image is '5888264'. Select and copy the numbers displayed.
Now, open Hippo Video in a new tab and log-in using your credentials.
Click on ‘Sales Pages’ under ‘Sales’ and select from any of the existing sales pages.
Once you’ve opened a sale page, click on ‘Integrate’ on the right and then click on ‘Hubspot’.
Now paste the code in the ‘Tracking ID’ text box under Hubspot and click on ‘Save’.
