1. Login to Salesforce.com, click on the App Launcher icon on the top left corner, and select 'Sales' from the pop-up.

  2. 1:1 video emails can be sent from the Leads tab & Contacts tab within Salesforce.  Navigate to any one of these tabs and select a lead listed below.

 

 

To send an existing video:

  1.  Select a video from the Hippo Video widget inside the Leads tab.

  1. Click on 'Preview' to ensure you’ve picked the right video and then click on 'Send Video'. 

  2. A thumbnail gets inserted in the email body. Add a personalized message & subject line and click 'Send'. 

 To record a new video:

  1. From the 'New Video' drop-down menu located on the top right corner of the Hippo Video widget inside Salesforce, select 'Record Video'. 



  1. You will see the video recorder window open in a new tab. Click 'Start Recording' to record your message.

  2. A window pops up to record a video.

  3. You can select/record videos in three different ways:

    1. Click on Start Recording, to record a new video with webcam and mic.

    2. Click on Record with Screen Recording from the right side of the video, to enable the screen recording.

Note: You will notice Webcam Mic are selected by default. To capture your screen while recording the message, select Screen. Otherwise, you can leave it unchecked and proceed to the next step.

    1. Click on Choose from Library from the right side of the video, to choose an existing video from the Hippo Video library.

  1. Once you are done, click on 'Finish recording'.

 

  1. Your video will now be available for playback. Click on Retake to re-record your video.

  2. Select the text New Recording above the video to rename your video.

  3. Click on Edit Video, and then on the Trim icon, to trim out the beginning or end of the video.

  1. You could also crop, add emojis or callouts, blur out parts of the screen or resize your video.

  2. Click on Personalize Video followed by +Add Text to add a message or greeting to your prospect.

  3. Use the orange seek bar at the bottom to enter Start Time and End Time for the text and click Save. It determines the duration and position of the text in the video.

  4. Click on Grab the attention of your prospects with a GIF Preview to choose a thumbnail for the video.

Here’s a Pro Tip: It is recommended to choose an animated GIF thumbnail over a static one.

  1. Alternatively, you could also upload an image or pick a frame from the video.

  2. Click on Add a link to book meetings/demos and increase prospect engagement. 

  3. By default, the Meeting Link is selected. Just fill in your name, designation, button name, link to your calendar, and click on Add.

  1. You can also add CTAs and images to redirect users to a particular page or add a HTML code.

  2. If you wish to send out your video via a landing page, click on ‘Choose a Sales Landing Page to embed your video’ link to select a landing page template to embed.

Here’s a Pro Tip: You can create one sales page for multiple videos and the entire team can use it while sending videos. The Merge fields will be auto-replaced by sender & prospect information eg: First Name, Company name, etc.

  1. Once you’re done, click on ‘Insert Video’.

  2. Now, you will see the thumbnail gets inserted in the email body then click on 'Send'.
