Login to Salesforce.com, click on the App Launcher icon on the top left corner, and select 'Sales' from the pop-up.
1:1 video emails can be sent from the Leads tab & Contacts tab within Salesforce. Navigate to any one of these tabs and select a lead listed below.
To send an existing video:
Select a video from the Hippo Video widget inside the Leads tab.
Click on 'Preview' to ensure you’ve picked the right video and then click on 'Send Video'.
A thumbnail gets inserted in the email body. Add a personalized message & subject line and click 'Send'.
To record a new video:
From the New Video drop-down menu located on the top right corner of the Hippo Video widget inside Salesforce, select Record Video.
You will see the video recorder window open in a new tab.
Note: The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes.
Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter by following the below steps else skip to Step f:
Click on Enable Teleprompter.
Now, you can either select from the list or create a new one.
In case, if you want to add a new script then click on the Add New Script at the top of the video.
In the new tab, fill in the details, and click on Save.
Navigate back to your recording tab and click Refresh near the Add New Script link.
Note: You have the options to modify the text size, line space, and even the speed of the teleprompter before the recording begins.
You will see two buttons - ‘Record Screen’ and ‘Upload’.
Record Screen at the bottom of the video recording, to enable the screen recording.
Note: You will notice Screen Record, Webcam & Mic are selected by default. If you want to remove any one of the selections then click on the Green tick to de-select else proceed to the next step.
Upload at the bottom of the video, to choose an existing video from the local drive/recorded videos (hippo video library)/g-drive.
To record a video:
Click on ‘Start recording’ to record your message.
Once the recording is complete, click on Finish Recording.
To personalize your video:
Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.
Click on Edit Video, to trim out any awkward pauses at the beginning or end of the video by clicking on the Scissor icon.
You can also crop, add emojis or callouts, blur out parts of the screen or resize your video.
Click on Add text or Image followed by +Add Text to add a message or greeting to your prospect and +Add Image to add an image.
Use the orange seek bar at the bottom to enter Start Time and End Time for the text and click Save. It determines the duration and position of the text in the video.
Click on Retake Video to re-record your video.
Click on Virtual Background, to select the preferred background for your video and then click on Apply.
Click on Grab the attention of your prospects with a GIF Preview.
Note: It is recommended to choose an animated GIF thumbnail over a static one.
Alternatively, you could also upload an image or pick a frame from the video.
Click on Add a link to book meetings/demos and increase prospect engagement.
By default, the Meeting Link is selected. Just fill in your name, designation, button name, link to your calendar, and click on Add.
You can also add CTAs and images to redirect users to a particular page or add a HTML code.
Click on Choose a Sales Landing Page to embed your video and select a template of your choice.
Once you’re done, click on the Insert Video to finish up.
You will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the compose mailbox.
Now, click on the Send. You have successfully sent a video email to your prospect from Salesfoce.
