To manage settings:
Login to the Hippo Video app.
Enter your email address & password and then click Login.
Now, click on the Hamburger icon at the top of your app.
Here, you will have the following options:
Settings tab - By default, it opens up the Settings tab.
Click Logout to exit from the Hippo Video app.
Toggle the Show Dock Icon button to show or hide the app at the left bottom of the screen or at the bottom of the screen. Note: This is Mac personalization, you can choose the preferences accordingly.
Toggle the Download updated in background button to always download the updated backgrounds.
Toggle the Launch at startup button to have the Hippo Video app at the startup menu.
Shortcuts tab - Displays all the shortcut keys used in the app.
Displays the details such as version, etc.
Helps to quickly grant access to the Hippo Video app to use screen record, camera, and mic inside Mac app. Follow the steps below,
Click Quick Start.
Click OK, to allow access to the camera and click Next.
Click OK, to allow access to the microphone and click Next.
Select Screen Recording from the left and check Hippo Video.
Click Next, to allow access to the screen recording.
Select Accessibility from the left and check Hippo Video.
Click Next, to enable the accessibility permissions.
Now, you can start with your recording.
Check for updates:
Displays the details for the updates.
Allows you to logout from the Hippo Video app.
Allows you to quit the app. You can exit the app two ways:
Click on the Hamburger icon at the top right side of the application and select Quit from the Settings pop-up.
Or click on the Hippo Video icon from the left panel of your screen (according to the Mac personalization the Show Dock may appear at the bottom of the screen) and select Quit.
