With Hippo Video, you can now send targeted and personalized video emails to multiple recipients all at once.
To send video email campaigns:
Log-in to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
Click on the Insights 360 icon from the left navigation bar and select Campaigns.
Then, click the Create Campaign button at the upper right.
You’ll be redirected to the new campaigns page, where you can create and send personalized video campaigns.
Click the Edit icon at the top left, to rename the campaign.
Name your campaign and click the Tick icon to save the name.
Click Proceed to create personalized videos for your campaign.
Now, you can select the video from the Personalized Video tab or Video Library or Record Video, or Import Video, and then click the Save and Next button.
You’ll be able to see the preview of your video. Click Save and Next at the bottom right.
Hippo Video lets you embed your video in three different ways: on a website, on sales page templates, and on a delivery page.
Here, let's see how to embed it on the sales page template. Choose your preferred sales page template or create new a sales page template by clicking on the Create New Sales Page Template at the top tight and do Refresh to make the newly created sales page template appear in the listing.
Again, click on the Save and Next button at the bottom right.
If you want to edit the template, then click on Edit Template and do the necessary changes.
Click on the Save and Next button at the bottom right.
Choose your preferred option to render your video: Pre-Personalized Videos (videos will be rendered instantly without any time lag) or On-Demand Videos (videos will start rendering only after your contacts open emails).
Note: We recommend choosing the ‘Pre-Personalized Videos’ option to render your videos.
Click on the Pre-Personalized Videos card and then click on the Save and Next button at the bottom right.
You can add contacts in multiple ways. Click on the Google Sheets tab and select the sheet.
Once done, click on the Save and Next button.
Then, compare the details with the merge fields and click the Save and Next button.
If you have missed out on filling in a particular field, you shall receive an error message pointing it out.
Click the Save and Next button.
Here you’ll find the campaign details such as the type of video along with the thumbnail, where it will get displayed, & the video link; the email provider & account; the total number of contacts & source of the contact; copy code to embed the video.
Once you review, click on the Schedule Campaign button at the bottom right.
Note: The Copy Code is invalid until you receive the confirmation email that pre-processing has been completed. Once you receive it, then you’ll be able to copy the code and embed it in your preferred platform; This is a must-have for humanised and website personalization requirements.
You will receive a pop-up notification confirming that your campaign has been launched successfully.
Now, you’ll receive an email notification on the launch of your campaign (after all the videos are pre-processed). Click on it.
Click on the attachment.
Go to the Campaigns page inside Hippo Video, and click on the Edit icon near the appropriate campaign.
Scroll down and click on the Copy Code button.
Then, paste it in your marketing software email and sent it.
In case you have exited a campaign mid-way, you can find it labeled as Drafted under the Campaigns tab.
In case you have scheduled the campaign:
It will be labeled as Scheduled under the Campaigns tab.
You can edit only till the scheduled time.
You can reschedule the campaign at any time by clicking on the appropriate icon on the right of the campaign.
To stop the rescheduled campaign, you must delete it.
How to track your video campaigns?
Click the Assets icon from the left navbar and open the video if you wish to see the reports.
Below the video preview, click the Reports tab and then click the View detailed reports button.
Then, select the Campaign Reports tab.
By clicking on the data, you’ll be able to see the detailed numbers for the videos created and videos played.
