With Hippo Video, you can now show video duration on the thumbnails. By setting the video duration time, you can expect to increase the click-through rates on your videos.
Note: By default, it's set as a global setting and any changes or modifications here can affect the entire account. At any point in time, the admin can make changes inside settings and the changes will reflect in all newly created videos.
Let’s see how to show video duration on the thumbnail,
To view video duration settings:
Click More from the left navbar and then click on Settings > Video Settings. You’ll be able to see the Settings to show video duration on the thumbnail option at the bottom of the page.
If necessary, you can change the settings on the thumbnail using the below options:
Do not show video time on the thumbnail - Selecting this will not show video time on the thumbnail.
Show video time if it is below 2 min - This is set by default. Selecting this will show playtime on the thumbnail if the video is below 2 minutes.
Show video time if it is below 5 min - Selecting this will show playtime on the thumbnail if the video is below 5 minutes.
Set your video duration (below) - Selecting this you can enter the video duration.
Once done, click Save on the top right.
