With Hippo Video, you can now create multiple folders and tags to organize your videos. All your recorded videos can be saved under different folders and you can also tag them for easy access.
To create and manage folder options:
Log-in to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
Click on Library from the left navbar and then click on the Videos and Documents.
Click on Create Folder at the top right corner.
Enter a Folder Name.
Select Visibility (Everyone in the organization/Only Me/To Specific User) and Permission (Edit/View).
Click on Add thumbnail to add folder thumbnail.
Click Save. The new folder will be created successfully.
Videos that aren’t added to any category or folder will be automatically saved to ‘Others’
You can create unlimited categories
Click on the More icon to see various options to manage folders.
The Pin Folder option helps you to pin the folders so that you can access them easily and you can pin upto 5 folders. Click here to learn more about the pin folders.
The Delete Folder helps you to delete folders as you wish.
You can also set any folder as default by clicking on Set as Default. Whenever you record or import a video the video will be set in this folder as default.
There will be a folder created for every user on account creation and set it as default.
To move the imported or recorded video to the specific folder and tag:
Open the specific folder in which you want the video to save.
Click on Import Video and select the folder from your local drive/g-dive.
As soon as you import or record a video you can enter the folder name to decide which folder you want to put the video in. You can also create tags for every video. This helps you to view videos easily by entering the tag in the search bar.
Once done, click Import. The selected video is imported into the specific folder.
