Requirements

To login and navigate to the case layout: 

  1. Login to Salesforce.com, click on the Setup icon on the top right corner and select Service Setup from the pop-up.

  2. In the Search field (top), enter Case and then select Case Page Layouts from the left side panel.

  1. Now, click on the Case and then click on the Email tab. You will notice the Hippo Video icon at the bottom of the email compose window. 

To record and send video emails from the case layout: 

  1. Click on the Hippo Video icon. Select the option from the pop-up.

  2. Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter. The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes. Click here to see how to enable it.

  3. To learn how to create a new video or use an existing video from the Hippo Video library, Click here

  4. Once the recording is complete, click on Finish Recording.

  5. Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.

  6. Select the folder to save the video below the Add to folder. By default, the video will be saved inside the Others folder.

  7. Click on Edit Video, to modify the video, if required. 

  8. Once you have completed editing, your video is now ready to be shared.

  9. If you wish to send out your video via a sales page, click the Sales Page tab on the top right corner to select a sales page template to embed.         

  10. Then, click on the Thumbnail tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video.    

  11. Once you’ve done, click on Insert Video.

  12. Now, you will see the thumbnail gets inserted in the email body then click on Send.
