Outlook with Hippo Video:
Record a 1:1 video message for your prospects.

Obtain real-time notifications every time of your video, i.e. whether your video email is opened/played, or your recipients take any other action.
You must have an Office 365, Exchange, or Outlook.com account (Sign-up here if you are a new user).
Your Outlook client must support web-based add-ins if they are connected to a Microsoft Exchange server OR Office 365 using a direct connection.
Outlook for Windows & Desktop app - Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.
To send 1:1 video emails from the outlook web version:
Log-in to Outlook (Web Version) using your credentials.
On the top left corner, click on New Message.
Now, click on the orange Hippo Video icon at the bottom of your Compose box.
You will see a pop-up window with two options - ‘Record with screen-recording’ or ‘Choose from library’.
Note: Webcam & Mic are selected by default. To capture your screen while recording the message, select Screen. Else, leave it unchecked and proceed to the next step.
To record a new video:
Note: The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes.
Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter by following the below steps else skip to Step f:
Click on Enable Teleprompter.
Now, you can either select from the list or create a new one.
In case, if you want to add a new script then click on the Add New Script at the top of the video.
In the new tab, fill in the details, and click on Save.
Navigate back to your recording tab and click Refresh near the Add New Script link.
Note: You have the options to modify the text size, line space, and even the speed of the teleprompter before the recording begins.
Now, click on Start Recording to record your message.
Once the recording is complete, click on Finish Recording.
To personalize your video:
Select the text New Recording above the video to change the default video name to a name of your choice.
Click on Edit Video, to trim out any awkward pauses at the beginning or end of the video by clicking on the Scissor icon.
You can also crop, add emojis or callouts, blur out parts of the screen or resize your video.
Click on the T icon to add text.
Use the orange seek bar at the bottom to enter Start Time and End Time for the text and click Save. It determines the duration and position of the text in the video.
Once you have completed editing, your video is now ready to be shared.
If you wish to send out your video via a landing page, click the ‘Landing Page’ tab on the top right corner to select a landing page template to embed.
Then, click on the ‘Thumbnail’ tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video.
Here’s a Pro Tip: It is recommended to choose an animated GIF thumbnail over a static one.
Once you’re done, click on the Insert Video.
Fill in the details and then click on Insert Video to finish up.
You will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the compose mailbox.
Now, click Send. You have successfully sent a video email to your prospect from outlook.
