Using videos in support, you can make your conversations with your customers more engaging and improve customer satisfaction by resolving their queries faster.

Requirements:

  • Hippo Video Chrome extension. Click here, to install.

  • Freshchat Account

To create a video to your answer:

  1. Login to Freshchat with your existing credentials.

  2. On the left-side panel, click Team Inbox .

  1. Click Contact from the left-side panel. 

  2. You’ll find the Hippo Video icon at the bottom right of the conversation inbox.

  1. Click on the Hippo Video icon. Select the option from the pop-up.

  2. Before recording, if you have any lengthy scripts then enable the teleprompter. The Enable Teleprompter feature within Hippo Video will prompt your scripts on the screen and lets you talk without the need to check your notes. To learn how to enable it, click here.

  3. You can create a new video or import a video from the Hippo Video library or record your screen and share.

  4. Once you have completed, your video is now ready to be shared.

  5. If you wish to send out your video via a sales page, click the Sales Page tab on the top right corner to select a sales page template to embed and then, click on the Thumbnail tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video.   6. Now, click on Insert Video to finish upYour video gets pasted as a link.

  1. Thenclick on Send icon. The recipient will now receive the video.
