Using videos in support, you can make your conversations with your customers more engaging and improve customer satisfaction by resolving their queries faster.
To create a video to your answer:
Login to Freshchat with your existing credentials.
On the left-side panel, click Team Inbox.
Click Contact from the left-side panel.
Now, you will be able to see a conversation inbox at the bottom of the screen.
Then, click on the orange Hippo Video icon.
You can record a new video or choose an existing video from the library.
To record a new video:
Click on Start Recording. This allows you to record a new video using your webcam and mic.
Once you complete, click on Finish Recording.
If you want to edit the video, you can crop, add emojis or callouts, blur out parts of the screen or resize your video.
Click on the T icon to add text.
Once you have completed editing, your video is now ready to be shared.
If you wish to send out your video via a landing page, click the Landing Page tab on the top right corner. This lets you select a landing page template to embed.
Pro Tip: You can create just one sales page for multiple videos, and the entire team can use it while sending videos.
Then, click on the Thumbnail tab on the top right corner to choose a thumbnail for the video.
Pro Tip: An animated GIF thumbnail is recommended because of the moving image that grabs the user’s attention and creates a curiosity to open the video.
Now, click on Insert Video to finish up. Your video gets pasted as a link.
Then, click on Send icon. The recipient will now receive the video.
