Log-in to ActiveCampaign using your existing credentials.
Click on Automations icon from the quick navigation bar on the left.
All the existing automation will get listed.
Now, click on Edit against the desired automation you want to add your videos.
Now, click on the View Emails button at the top of the screen.
You will see the emails set for this automation.
Click on the Edit against the email you want to add videos to.
The selected email builder will appear.
Navigate to the right side of the screen and click on Options.
Then, scroll down and drag & drop the HTML Block component in the desired place. Click on the block to paste HTML code.
To select the video, navigate to the Hippo Video in a new tab, log in using your credentials and click on Library from the top menu.
Click on All Videos and then select the video that you wish to embed.
Note: Your video may not play as expected when the value of a personalized field is empty in Active Campaign or when a user-given custom field isn’t available in ActiveCampaign. Here are fields that you can personalize your video with - First Name, Last Name, Email, Company Name, Phone Number & Address.
In the video preview page, click on Video Campaigns from the tab on the right.
From the Email Marketing Software drop-down list, select ActiveCampaign, and click on Copy Code.
Note: Check the Responsive box to make your video compatible with different screen orientations like PC or mobile.
To embed the video in ActiveCampaign, navigate back to the ActiveCampaign.
Paste the copied code inside the ‘Custom HTML’ editor and click Save
You will notice the video gets pasted as a thumbnail inside the page.
Note: If the thumbnail seems broken, click on Settings on the top right corner and select Desktop Preview. If you can see the thumbnail in preview mode, be assured that the recipient will also be able to view it.
Now, click on Next to move to the ‘Campaign Summary’ page.
You’ll be able to review the details and then click on Finish.
