Adding a CTA to your video can quickly boost lead generation and sales by embedding a meeting/demo link at the end of your video.

In this document, let’s see how to add a CTA or meeting link in three ways:

Adding a CTA or meeting link for a new video:

  1. Log-in to  Hippo Video with your existing credentials.

  2. Click on  Sales from the tab on top and then click on Create Prospecting Videos.

  1. Click on Start Recording to record a video.

  2. Once you’ve done, click on Finish Recording.

  3. Your video will now be available for playback.

  4. Click on Edit Video and then click on the respective icons to implement the changes to the video. E.g., click Trim   icon, to trim out the beginning or end of the video.

  5. Click on Request a response in the form of CTA or Meeting Link. 

  1. Select the Meeting Link and fill in your name, designation, button name, link to your calendar and click Add.

Adding a CTA or meeting link globally:

By adding CTA globally, it will get displayed at the end of all your videos, by default.

  1. Log-in to  Hippo Video with your existing credentials.

  2. Click on More from the tab on top and then click on Settings

  1. Click on the Video Settings

  1. Here, enable the CTA by clicking on the toggle button.

  2. Enter the name, designation, button name, and meeting link.

  3. Once you’ve done, click on the Save

Adding a CTA or meeting link for your existing videos:

  1. Log-in to  Hippo Video with your existing credentials.

  2. Click on Library from the tab on top and then select the video for which you want to add the meeting link. 

  3. In the video preview page, click on Marketing Tools from the tab on the right and then click In-Video Meeting Link.

  1. Enter your name, designation, the text you’d like to display on the CTA button, and your meeting link in the respective fields.

  2. Once you’ve done, click on.

  3. Now, you will notice the In-Video Meeting Link added to your video. 

  4. That’s it! Your video is good to go.


Track your In-Video Meeting Link Clicks:

  1. Select the video of your choice from the Library menu on the top.

  2. In the video preview page, click on Video Info from the tab on the right and then click Reports View Detailed Reports button > Timeline Actions Report tab. 

  3. You will be able to see the total number of In-Video Meeting link clicks (marked). 

  1. You also have an option to download the report in CSV and XLS format by clicking on the Download Report button at the top.

  2. Click on Exit Report, to close the report section.
