1. Log-in to Hippo Video using your existing credentials.

  2. Select  (CAMPAIGNS) from the quick navigation bar on top. 

  3. Click on ‘Create Campaign’ available on the top-right corner of the screen.

  4. Select ‘Video’ from the two options enlisted. 

         

  1. Click on ‘Proceed’.

  2. You now have 3 choices to add a video:

  • You can either record a video

  • Import a video

  • Or, choose a pre-existing video from the library

To record a video:

  1. Click on ‘Record Video’.

  2. In the new tab that pops-up, you can enable permissions for screen record, webcam, and microphone, based on your requirement. 

  3. You can do a quick webcam preview if you wish to, or proceed by clicking on ‘Record’. 

  4. As you can see below, there is a shortcut to ‘Import a video’ from your desktop or drive, or ‘create a video’ using images and music.

To import a video:

  1. In the new tab that pops-up, you can either drag and drop your files, browse videos from your desktop, or grant access to your drive. 

  2. Click on ‘Proceed’ when done. 

To choose an existing video from the Library:

  1. As you can see, all your pre-recorded videos are displayed here. You can categorize your search under ‘All Videos’. 

  2. Once you zeroed down on a video, click on ‘Save and Next’. 

  3. You can now personalize your video by adding merge fields such as first name, company name, etc., or adding text or emojis. 

  4. Already personalized video will be specified with a ‘Personalized’ label. 

  5. Click on ‘Save and Next’. 

                    You can give your campaign a name in this step.

                 

  1. Once your video has been processed, you come across 3 options to embed your video.

 1. Choose the ‘Website’ option. 

Note: In this option, you can directly copy the personalized code to your website. 

Enter your website URL in the box below. 

Note: When a customer opens your mail and clicks on the campaign video thumbnail, it shall redirect him/her to your website.

2. Choose the ‘Landing Pages’ option.

  • Here you have the option to choose an existing landing page or create a new one. 

  • If you choose to create a new landing page, you will be redirected to a new page where you can select a sales page from the options listed below. 

             

  • Hover your mouse over the sales page you want and click  ‘Create Page’. 

  • Click on “Add Primary Video” to add a video to your page. 


There are two ways by which you can add a video:


  1. By uploading a pre-recorded video from the Library. 

  2. By recording a live video 

  • Click on Create Video.

  • Click on the ‘Record’ button.

  • Here you can authorize permission for screen recording, webcam, and microphone, based on how you want your video to be. 

  • Click on Finish Recording once you have finished. 

  • Please note that if you wish to choose an existing video from the library, you can directly click on ‘Import new video’, select your video, and click on ‘Proceed’.

  • You can edit various aspects of the sales page such as logo, header, Call To Action if you wish to, and click ‘Next’ when done.

  • Navigate back to the landing page tab and hit the refresh icon. Your sales page will now appear below as a landing page.

  • Select a landing page and click ‘Save and Next’. 

  • You can preview your landing page and make any edits if you wish to. 

  1. Choose the ‘Delivery Page’ option. 

  • Here your video appears as a thumbnail. You can copy its link to share it across other platforms. 

  • Click on ‘Copy Link’.

Note: The following steps will now be the same for the Website, Landing Page, and Delivery page options. 

  1. Click on ‘Save and Next’.

  2. You can now integrate with some of your favorite tools like Google, Outlook, or SMTP, or select a marketing software from the drop-down menu. 

1.  Email Marketing Software

  • Select Email Marketing software and choose a tool you wish to integrate with from the drop-down menu.

  • Click on ‘Save and Next’.

  • Choose to render videos that are pre- personalized or at the time of delivery, and click on ‘Save and Next’. 




              2.  Integrating with Gmail/Outlook


  1.  Enter a subject line and hit ‘Save and Next’.

Note: The steps to publishing the campaign are now the same for Email Marketing Software and Gmail integration. 

  1. In order to personalize your video according to contact information, grant access to your local documents such as sheets, contacts, or desktop and proceed by clicking on ‘Save and Next’. 

  1. Ensure to fill-in all the fields required. In case you have missed out filling-in a particular field, you shall receive an error message pointing it out. 

  1. You can now preview your campaign and either schedule it for later, or send it out now by clicking on ‘Launch Campaigns’. 

  1. As you can see, you will receive a pop-up notification confirming that your campaign has been launched. 

Note: You can find all your previously created campaigns under the ‘Campaigns’ option in the quick navigation bar on top. 



Note: In case you have exited a campaign mid-way, you can find it under the ‘Campaigns’ tab from the quick navigation bar on top, labeled as ‘Drafted’.
