Adding a video to an email template in Hubspot

  1. Login to your Hubspot account and click on 'Emails' under 'Marketing'. 

  2. In order to send out a  video email campaign, an email template along with a video needs to be created.

  3. Click on the 'Create Email' button on the top right & select 'Regular' from the email type pop-up. There are two different templates you can choose from:

    1. Drag and Drop 

      1. Select from any one of the templates under the 'Drag and drop' option.

      2. Add your company logo, email content, and then, to add the video, click on 'more' under the Content tab on the left.

      3. Drag and drop the 'HTML' component and place it in the email body.

      1. Now, the HTML code containing the video needs to be added inside the 'Edit HTML' window on the left.

      2. Open a new tab and log-in to your Hippo Video account and select the video you wish to send from the 'Library'. 

 

      1. Click on 'Video Campaigns' on the tab to the right and select 'HubSpot' from 'Email Marketing Software'.

      2. Click on 'Copy Code'.

      1. Navigate back to Hubspot tab and paste the code in the 'Edit HTML' window on the left.

      1. You will notice the video getting pasted as a thumbnail inside the email.

      2. Click on 'Send' once you’ve added recipients and subject line.  


    1. Custom

      1. Pick any template under the custom tab and save it with a name.

      2. Click on the pen icon to add your desired message to the email body.

      3. Now to add a video, click on 'Source Code' under 'Advanced' to the right.

      1. This will open up an 'Edit Source Code' pop-up where the HTML code needs to be pasted. 

      2. Open a new tab and log-in to your Hippo Video account and select the video you wish to send from the 'Library'. 

      1. Click on 'Video Campaigns' on the tab to the right and select 'HubSpot' from 'Email Marketing Software'.

      2. Click on 'Copy Code'.

      1. Navigate back to Hubspot, paste the HTML code in the 'Edit Source Code' window and click on 'Save Changes'.

      1. You will now see the video getting pasted as a thumbnail.                                                                                          

      2. Click on 'Next', fill in the required details and send the email.
